9月2日2013级新生军训圆满结束，紧接着他们迎来了为期一周的新生教育。中美项目办在这一周时间里对外语系、机械系、电气系、经济系、管理系、计算机系以及艺术系全体新生进行了美国内布拉斯加林肯大学（以下简称UNL）出国留学宣讲会。
中美项目办负责人首先对学校及项目进行了简单介绍，在留学方面给了大家指导，同时向同学们展示了UNL的照片。紧接着中美项目办外教进行了简短发言，随后是问答环节。在互动中，同学们积极踊跃，用中英文提出了各种关于UNL以及美国的教育和文化的问题。每个提问的同学都获得了来自UNL的精美小礼品。截至9月9日，中美项目办对各个系的宣讲圆满结束。
UNL-PDP office held recruitment presentations to all the freshmen coming from Foreign Language, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Economics, Management, Computer and Art departments during the week after the military training was finished.
The office manager gave students an introduction to UNL and the PDP program, showed them pictures of Lincoln and UNL. Then the lecturer gave a brief speech to the students. In the Q & A session, students asked questions about UNL, the program and also American culture and education system. Students who stood up and asked questions all got small gifts from UNL. All the presentations were finished on September 9th.
