2013年12月9日，美国内布拉斯加林肯大学校长助理Dave Wilson教授、商学院教授Glenn Williams以及出国部主任Rebecca Baskerville一行三人来访我院。西安交通大学城市学院院长陈光德教授和党政中心副主任朱普社老师在行政楼贵宾室热情接待来宾。
下午两点半，学院领导在贵宾室与林肯大学来访团进行了亲切友好的会谈，双方就当前中国的热门话题“雾霾”进行了探讨，同时就未来两校联合进行国际办学的可能性进行了相关探讨。最后，陈院长向来宾介绍了城院自建校以来的发展并诚挚邀请来宾出席我院明年举办的建院十周年院庆活动。Wilson教授向我院院庆表示了衷心祝贺。与此同时，双方互赠礼品。
稍事休息后，Glenn教授在F100报告厅做了题为“股神巴菲特”的讲座。我院管理系部分学生参加了此次活动。
讲座上Glenn教授运用各种耳熟能详的经典案例，如可口可乐及星巴克，向同学们介绍了巴菲特的投资理念及原则，鼓励同学们趁着年轻大胆积极投资。同学们积极提问，Glenn教授的回答使得在座的同学们捧腹大笑。五点半讲座顺利结束。
晚上七点，三位来宾又来到教学楼C119教室为中美项目大一大二学生介绍了UNL商学院的专业设置及学科设置，同时还向大家详细讲解了在美国申请研究生事宜。项目学生踊跃发言。
此次美国内布拉斯加林肯大学代表团一行对城市学院及学生给予高度评价，无论是学院的热情款待还是学生的优良素质无不感染着他们，双方纷纷坚信两校的合作定会取得更大成功。
Dave Wilson, Glenn Williams and Rebecca Baskerville of UNL visited CC on December 9th, 2013.
President Chen met them in the guest room at 2:30pm. They talked about the mist issue happening in China, and the possibility for two parties to develop a corporate school. Then President Chen introduced the history of CC and invited UNL to attend our 10th anniversary ceremony, Professor Wilson send his regards to us.
Professor Glenn gave a presentation on Warrant Buffet to students from management department, he encouraged students to invest as young as possible. And his answers to student’s question made everyone laugh.
Finally the three guests gave a lecture to PDP student on the college of business administration of UNL and its majors, they also talked about how to apply for graduate in the states.
UNL visitors spoke highly of CC and our students, they believed that our cooperation will be more successful.
