8月23日是新生报道的第二天，结束了在活动中心的新生咨询后，中美项目办于当日下午三点在行政楼办公室召开了新生家长咨询会，从各地来的新生家长表达了对项目的强烈兴趣。会上，项目办的崔老师对美国内布拉斯加林肯大学以及对学校周边环境等进行了介绍，并展示了学校图片。同时，崔老师也就家长所关心的学生语言问题、学分互认等问题进行了相应的解答，使得家长和同学们让家长更直观深入的了解了美国林肯大学的情况。最后，新生家长咨询会在下午4点半圆满结束。

     UNL-PDP office held a recruitment meeting with the freshmen's parents on August 23rd. The office manager gave parents a brief introduction to UNL and its surrondings, showed them pictures of Lincoln and UNL. She also answered parents' questions on studying abroad, credits transfer and language issues to make parents understand the program better.
