美国内布拉斯加林肯大学招生处专员Jake Hoy-Elswick到访西安交大城市学院

3月7日—3月8日，美国内布拉斯加林肯大学（以下简称UNL）招生处专员Jake Hoy-Elswick来我院进行了为期两天的访问。

来访期间，Jake同外语系、经济系、管理系及机械系的老师们进行了亲切会谈，双方就中美文化、出国留学及学术研究等事宜展开了一系列讨论。同时也和即将出国的中美项目办学生见面，为他们答疑解惑，帮助大家做好2013年秋季出国申请。最后，Jake为同学们做了一场精彩的讲座，介绍了美国最流行的橄榄球运动以及UNL在全美排名数一数二的Huskers橄榄球队，场面别开生动。

Jake的此次来访，更加密切了UNL和我院的合作关系。同时也极大地帮助了即将出国的同学们，使他们对出国学习、生活有了充足的思想准备。

Welcome UNL’s Jake Hoy-Elswick to XJTUCC-PDP

Jake Hoy-Elswick, the International Recruitment Coordinator of University of Nebraska-Lincoln (hereafter UNL) had a two-day visit to CC from March 7 to March 8, 2013.

During the visit, Jake had a friendly talk with faculty of Foreign Language Department, Economics Department, Management Department, and Mechanical Engineering Department on Sino-US cultural, studying abroad and academic research issues. He also met with XJTUCC-PDP students who will study in UNL this fall. He answered their questions and helped them prepare the application. Jake then had a wonderful presentation on American football which is the most popular sports in America, and UNL’s football team Huskers.

Jake's visit to CC makes our relationship more closely, and also greatly makes the students better prepared for their upcoming study in America.
